BAT 11 is a concept built by Bertone under the commission of Gary Kaberle, a passionate american owner of the Alfa Romeo BAT 9, built in 1955. The Alfa Romeo BAT is a family of cars produced by Alfa Romeo in collaboration with Bertone between 1953 and 1955 that have the purpose of achieving an aerodynamics coefficient value of 0.19.

References to the “sisters” of the fifties are various, from the partial coverage of the four wheels, till the hint of the aerodynamic fins, the back and the modern interpretation of the divided rear window.

The profile is marked by an important line that begin into the bumper that characterized the front of the car. This line follows the front wheel and the windshield and continues to the back forming two large wings that end with a thin beam of red LED.

The 21 inch wheels are made in carbon fiber and they are characterized by a double layers of helical rays.

Alessandro Camorali, who worked in Stile Bertone s.p.a. like an employee has partecipated to the realization of the 3D model of the concept near the designer Valery Muller, at the Bertone’s headquarter in Caprie during 2007.
