The “Deus Teneré” built on a new Yamaha Teneré has the ambitious objective to translate the early ‘80s Dakar bikes concept into dynamic and flowing lines with accent on head faring design and large fuel tank.

The bike has been presented during the “prohibited” Wheels & Waves Swank Rally in Magescq (FR) and ridden by our friend fourth time Le Touquet winner Jean-Claude Moussé, who did magic on the beast.

The first work has been to full equips the bike with a rally kit including top protection radiator, chain guide and protection, Yamaha motor guard and tool box, and Acerbis hand guards. Suspension has been tuned for a real rally: Andreani front suspension (+30MM) and Ohlins on the back. Control part with support and roadbook and two road trips. A challenging work has been done together with Camal Studio in order to industrialize the design with 3D realizing faring, tank cover, and seat, back fender, side tables included in one piece. The result has been a full body in fiberglass which may become a kit on request.

Metzeler Karoo Extreme tires perfectly fitted the Swank W&W race with a mix of soft sand and motocross trails.

The exhaust has been replaced with a unique custom made SC project in titanium; it is significantly lighter than the original which bring a soft racing sound.

CAMAL Studio collaborated with DEUS EX MACHINA in the realization of the prototype, from the 3D model of the production kit to the production of it.
