The EDIT project was born when the client, OSVehicle commissioned the design of a “body” for its modular frame.
CAMAL’s team has understood the needs of the customer, approaching the project from a “Software House” approach, identifying the functional and aesthetic needs of the customers of tomorrow.
The challenge was the realization of a friendly shape, easily transformable according to the needs of the customer that could help the transition towards a different layout of future autonomous driving cars.
The sculpted side body creates a dynamic look to a very simple shape. Reduced overhangs and full-body design provide a sense of safety and modernity to the object intended more as a technological product rather than a classic automobile. Neutral colors and limited gaps between the parts lead the observer to view EDIT as a contemporary object, ready for the future, made of new materials with new modes of construction.
